Subscriptions: Ipsy May 2014 Review

The bag this month was interesting. I'm not crazy about the shape but the fabric is great and the print is fun. I always appreciate when they switch up the shapes/ sizes/ materials of the bags so I'm not disappointed. I will have to post a picture of all my Ipsy bags sometimes. It's a sickness.

(None of my pictures wanted to turn out this month so this is all I have- sorry!)

Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask - I haven't tried this yet but it's going straight in the shower. It says it can be used as a treatment or an everyday conditioner and I'm going to try it as the latter because my hair needs the most intensive conditioner I can find. I have high hopes for this and it already smells amazing!

Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF 50 - This looks cute but the last thing I need is more sunscreen. I'm either going to try and swap this or give it to my sister. She's thinking about spending the summer on a raw vegan farm in Hawaii because she's literally insane so she is going to need all the sunscreen she can get.

Precision Beauty Eyelash Curler - I will never complain about getting beauty tools, but I do already have 3 eyelash curlers right now, haha. I guess that means it's time to purge some of them because they definitely get worn out over time. I haven't tried this yet but it's shiny purple so that's a plus at least.

Pacifica Natural Beauty Eye Shadow Duo - These are really gorgeous natural shades but I have sooo many eyeshadows that look just like these (hello having all three Naked palettes) that I'm going to try and swap this.

Boo-Boo Cover-Up Concealer/ Camouflant - Between picking at my skin and getting scars and having dark under-eyes I need heavy duty concealer. I thought this would work well but it was just ok. First of all it is very thick so a little goes a LONG way. It's a little cakey and the coverage was just ok. I usually put on moisturizer before putting on makeup and I didn't before trying this on so I'm going to give it another shot when I'm doing my makeup regularly. But I'm not too impressed just yet. It does sort of smell like sunscreen though which I like.

Ipsy is only $10 a month and well worth the price! Check out my referral link below:

  1. I loved this month's bag! Mine was pretty different from yours.. it's funny how some months they all seem the same and other months they have a lot more variety.

    1. What'd you get?! At first they sent out the same stuff to everyone which I almost prefer because then you don't get bag envy, haha. I always see stuff other people got and want it so much!

    2. Haha, I totally understand bag envy. Looking back, mine really wasn't very different from yours.. last month's bag sat in my mailbox forever so I got the last two bags in pretty rapid succession and I think I got them all jumbled in my mind.

I got the same- minus the eyelash curler and booboo cover up. I got the too faced chocolate bronzer and the spring water mist (weird, but entertaining) lol.
