They didn't include their "Aren't surprises fun?" card this time!
When I saw Julep was offering a new mystery box I was like "no, I am not falling for that again." And then when I saw the two polishes they guaranteed were going to be in every box (two very cool glitters- Antonia and Geo) I was like maybeee. And then when I saw they promised that it was their highest value box ever I was like FINE JULEP JUST TAKE MY MONEY. Plus I skipped November's box so I felt justified. Right?!
It came in this huge box which made me really excited... Until I opened it and realized it was mostly packing material because I had included an add on.
The add on I chose was this neon nail kit and really, I have no idea what exactly it is or how to use it but it was only a couple dollars so I thought what the hell.
First look- this wasn't packed very carefully...

Unfortunately I had all the polishes except Lucy and Eva (and Antonia and Geo of course), and I found those two to be too close to polishes I already have, so I listed them all on eBay along with the Double Step. You can check out all my listings here!

ReplyDeleteActually, you don't have to be a Maven to order mystery boxes. It's a much better deal to just order those and not be a Maven I have learned.

DeleteI got the same box, except my polishes didn't come in those little organza bags. I love the two diamond box exclusives, but I don't know how I feel about some of the other colours. REGIFT! :P

DeleteHello I read this and I Laughed so hard. I went throught the same thought process you did when deciding to purchase. And I'm glad that I read this because I did the glitter add on too and they forgot it. Last time I fell for the chevron box and they forgot to the chevron stickers. Also just like you I had all the polishes too :/ womp womp...
ReplyDeleteThey get me every time! What a bummer they have messed up your ad ons twice in a row and that you have all these polishes too. I wish they'd send out polishes that they haven't sent out in the monthly boxes in at least a year. I hope they either don't do a mystery box for December or it's really crappy since I opted in for the December box. ;)
