Black Sesame Mochi: This was really interesting. It was a gummy candy that tasted like toasted sesame seeds. At first I thought it was strange, but then I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure I could eat a bunch of these, but I wouldn't say it was gross by any means.

Fizzy Soda Candy (Apple & Pineapple): I tried the pineapple one and am saving the apple one for later. These were your basic hard candies, but it fizzed a little in my moth as it was dissolving. The pineapple flavor was very strong which I loved because I love pineapple!

Sparkling Ball Candy: The information card says they sent these out in lemon, strawberry, grape, or apple but I'm pretty sure this was was orange flavored. It looked like a gummy but it was actually crunchy. It was a basic hard candy and I enjoyed it.

Soft Salad Senbei: The information card described these as "baked puffy rice crackers with a light savory taste" which I am going to assume is supposed to be salad-y? It had a vaguely fishy taste- sort of like how R's fish tank smells. I think I'll eat the other cracker, but I'm also really hungry.

Nigata Rice Cracker: The info card says these taste just like a "yaki-onigri" but I have no idea what that is so it doesn't really help. They're pretty salty and have a definite soy sauce taste. They're crunchy but not completely crispy which I like. I would eat these again, but more than that package is enough for one sitting because they're so salty.

Ume Cracker: This was the first time I've eaten a cracker with a "pickled plum" glaze, and it will probably be the last. I was definitely surprised by the intensity of the flavor, and it's not like anything I've ever had before. I didn't completely hate it, but it was a little too different for me.

Nori Wrapped Senbei: I usually don't mind seaweed but this was a little too seaweedy for me. I peeled off the seaweed to see if that'd abate the taste but it really didn't. I'm going to give R the rest of the seaweed when she wakes up. I'm so mean.

Chocolate Puff: Oh my gosh, can I get like 10 more of these? This was a tube of puffy cookie coated in chocolate. It was light, airy, and delicious!

Matcha Gum Pack: I'm not a huge gum fan because I can only chew it for so long before it starts to literally gag me. But this gum is described as "mochi textured matcha green tea gum" and I knew I had to try it. The flavor is definitely green tea but there is an interesting cooling mint flavor to it as well. I'm not sure what the "mochi textured" or "matcha" parts meant, but this is a pretty good gum.

Endo Green Pea: These green peas have been fried, and I'm not sure if I like them or not. They're crunchy and have a great spice to them, but I'm just not a huge pea fan.

And they threw in some cute postcards to boot!
