Today I'm linking up with Life After I "Dew" and saying so what if...
- I am nauseous 24/7. (And no, I am definitely not pregnant.) Being emetophobic, nausea is my least favorite feeling in the world, but I'm trying to get by. I'm glad my Smartpill test is next week, but I'm also kind of freaked out I won't be able to take any nausea/ reflux meds for 5 days...
Hopefully R is as good this year as she was last year!
- The Zombie Crawl is on Saturday and I have nothing prepared yet. I need to figure out what R and I are going to wear (I believe I still have her tutu from last year) and head over to the Halloween store to pick up some face paint and lots of fake blood. I think we're going to bring Hank this year and I can't tell if that's a fantastic or absolutely terrible idea.
- I am sort of overly excited to send out my swap gift to Danielle for the Fall Friendly Swap!
This picture does them no justice!
- I've painted my nails three times this week. I was really digging the glow in the dark mani I had going on but once that Zoya polish showed up in my Ipsy bag I had to wear it, like, right away.
- The Avs won last night because they looked about as good as I feel. (I.e. not good.) Hopefully Coach Roy reams them at practice and they bring their A game against the Dead Things, er, Red Wings. ;)
What a fun link up! That zombie crawl looks absolutely horrific (which I guess is the point). I'm a closet Walking Dead fan...I say closet because a lot of the fans are crazy with a capital c. But I don't know if I'd be ready to dive into full on zombie gear lol your little lady looks smashing though!
ReplyDeleteWe saw some pretty gruesome stuff last year, haha! I've actually never seen that show, but I'm a big Dawn of the Dead fan! I should probably hop in the Walking Dead train sooner than later! Thanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteZombie crawl? that sounds fun, will look forward to seeing some pictures! :
ReplyDeleteYay for the friendly fall swap! :)
It's a blast! Last year R was one of the smallest zombies out there so she would draw huge crowds of people taking pictures of her, haha. I'm excited to see how this year turns out and to get a lot more pics! Thanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteWoah, I've never "met" anyone who is emetophobic before. I completely freak out over that particular bodily function.. so nice to know I'm not the only one. :-). How do you deal with it with a kiddo? That's one thing I'm really worried about concerning having kids..

Emetophobia is actually more common than you'd think! There's a lot of great online resources out there. Honestly dealing with my daughter getting sick was one of my biggest fears while pregnant. She's been sick twice and I was actually pretty good with dealing with it. She's also young so it's not as gross yet. I start to freak out when I or my husband gets sick, especially since we have one bathroom. :/ luckily I have a prescription for Zofran for my gastroparesis (I'm nauseous 24/7) and that helps prevent the actual throwing up.
