Subscriptions: Birchbox October 2013

From left to right: Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and Pure Muslin Cloths, Benefit Cosmetics Fake Up, Chapstick Hydration Lock in Vanilla Creme, and Pop Beauty Aqua Lacquer.

This was a pretty good box for me! I'll definitely be using everything, though I might not use the Pop Beauty lipgloss very much. I thought it was going to be a tube gloss, but there's actually a little brush inside it. It actually makes it sort of difficult to apply, but the color is really nice and subtle. It's sticky though which is awful for my super long hair. I'm really excited to try the Liz Earle cleanser because my skin is a hot mess right now, and so I was also excited to see the Fake Up! I've been wanting to try it for awhile, but I'm sad to see this sample is tiny. It's seriously just a few centimeters thick. Why include such a large applicator if the sample is going to be so small? This may very well be something I purchase in full size though. The chapstick was chapstick. I don't usually wear anything on my lips unless they get chapped and then I get a super intensive balm. This tastes good so I'll keep it around.

Are these what Birchbox are going to put their extras in now? (It's what my chapstick came in.) It's so cute! I'm definitely going to find a way to re-use it!

  2. Fake up is definitely worth the money to buy, I highly recommend it! I have very dark red circles under my eyes and this covers them magnificently! After I just set it with ben nye banana powder.
